02 — About

Born in 2026. Playing like veterans.

89 Studio was founded on 23 April 2026 by Aitor Rodríguez, fresh from running SD Ponferradina’s official social media. With him, two collaborators who have already covered a lot of ground: Emilio Sauter, a sports photographer between Spain and Mexico, and Ezequiel Martín, a vertical-video content creator.

We are small on purpose: we do a few things and we do them properly. Camera, editing and social media in one team, so your content ships fast and looks great.

Aitor Rodríguez González

From the stands to the club

Aitor Rodríguez González
@aitor.rodriguez.g

Aitor is the founder of 89 Studio. He started the way the best football stories start: as a Ponferradina fan. Stands, away days and endless trips home, told from his phone by someone who truly lives it. That voice connected — today more than 2,400 people follow him on Instagram.

In January 2026, halfway through the season, SD Ponferradina signed him to run the club’s official social media. “It came much sooner than expected,” he wrote. The announcement drew 727 likes and 163 comments. He took over the club’s account at 45,400 followers and left it at 51,000, while views went from 1.7 million to 15.6 million.

He got the most intense season possible: a team that closed the first half in the drop zone with 17 points, climbed to 51, pulled off a historic comeback to reach the play-offs, won the semi-final in Madrid against Atlético and fell one step short of promotion in the final. Aitor told it all from the inside: dressing room, bench, scoreboards and fans — with Emilio beside him on several of those trips.

With that experience he founded 89 Studio on 23 April 2026: an agency bringing camera, editing and social media together for clubs, athletes and brands, with one clear idea — Quality & Quantity.

“El objetivo no se acaba, se aplaza.”

— Aitor, after the play-off final

Emilio Sauter

From Mahlstetten to the world

Emilio Sauter
@emiliosauterr

Emilio is 18 with a passport full of stamps: German-Spanish, raised in Mexico, he has lived in Germany, China, Mexico and Spain. His bio sums it up: “From Mahlstetten To da World”.

He has been a photographer since 19 July 2025, when he covered his first match: AD Alcorcón against English side Harborough Town. Six weeks later he was pitchside in Primera RFEF.

But if one club defines his story, it’s SD Ponferradina. “Whatever it takes to cover the SDP” was his motto all season long, repeated on every away trip. Ponferradina never accredited him at El Toralín, and still he never stopped trying: he got in as the away side’s photographer — twice with CD Lugo, once with Ourense CF and once with Barakaldo — and with Esto Es Atleti for the play-off semi-finals. All of them have published his photos: CD Lugo, Ourense CF, Barakaldo and Esto Es Atleti.

He never missed the away days: endless trips, several of them alongside Aitor, from Bilbao in the depths of January to Mérida, Salamanca, Vigo and Pontevedra. On four weekends he did a double: on Saturday he travelled from Ponferrada to cover CD Lugo, and on Sunday he chased Ponferradina (Anxo Carro and Balaídos, Anxo Carro and Salamanca, Anxo Carro and Bilbao, O Couto and Pontevedra). He was at both legs of the play-off semi-finals and at the final at Balaídos against Celta Fortuna.

Seven months in, he crossed the ocean to get accredited in Liga MX. In July 2026 he moved back to Mexico for good; he now lives in Irapuato and works with 89 Studio from there.

“Hasta lo imposible para cubrir a la SDP.”

— Emilio, his motto on every away trip of the 2025/26 season

Ezequiel Martín

The voice of La Balona

Ezequiel Martín
@zequiii22

“Hi, my name is Ezequiel. I’m a normal kid, but what sets me apart is my hunger to take on the world. I’m very persistent and I love the world of content creation. My biggest feat was being accredited for the big YouTubers match organised by DjMariio, where I met many of my idols. These days I post vlogs about my life and about the matches of the teams in my area. Nice to meet you!”

Zequi is from La Línea de la Concepción. In February 2025 he started posting videos without showing his face; that summer he found the nerve to step in front of the camera. He hasn’t stopped growing since.

His community grew around his hometown club, Real Balompédica Linense: presentations, previews, matchday vlogs. So much so that in January 2026 the podcast “Por la Recia te Conocen” invited him on as La Balona’s go-to TikToker.

At La Rosaleda, at the TikTok Football Academy (DjMariio’s big match), he interviewed ELEFUTBOL, Juanki, Papigavi and Spursito — that video has 80,000+ views. He has also been accredited at Barakaldo – Tenerife. He already works with brands like MaxiKits and Club de Judo Salesianos La Línea.

His superpower is consistency: 75+ days of daily vlogs this summer and over 109,000 likes on TikTok. Vertical, close and rhythmic content — exactly what works on social.

“Lo que me diferencia es el hambre que tengo por comerme el mundo.”
